Thing 4 – Blogging Begins with Reading
After reading a number of blog posts, I would say that the ones that captured my attention are the ones that either questioned or educated. Here are two of my favorites:
Spies Like Us by Vicki Davis
This blog discusses the impact that our new technology may have on our lives. Small devices can be used to enhance learning by enabling students who need assistance with class notes or need to listen to a lecture more than once. Unfortunately, students of today are more likely to use them in a way in which they can harm others without really thinking of the consequences.

PowerPoint Extreme Makeoverby Dean Shareski
Old style presentations no longer grab the attention of the students we teach today. The high level of excitement and energy the students are used to needs to be carried over into our style of teaching. The new form of presentations discussed in these blogs forces the presenter to tell a story revealing a little more about themselves.
